He has published extensively on such areas as sociology, social policy, gender, men and masculinities, sexuality, violence, organisations, management, ICTs, and cultural studies. His current research focuses on men, gender relations, organisations and organising, and transnational patriarchies and processes, along with violence and autoethnography. He is co-managing editor of the Routledge Advances in Feminist Studies and Intersectionality book series, and co-editor of NORMA: International Journal of Masculinity Studies.
