An Interview with Elzbieta OleksyElzbieta H. Oleksy je profesorkou v oboru humanitnich ved na Univerzite v Lodzi v Polsku. Je vedouci katedry transatlantickych a medialnich studii a reditelkou Centra zenskych studii, ktere v roce 1992 zalozila. V letech 2000-2008 byla zakladajici dekankou Fakulty mezinarodnich a politickych studii. Je autorkou/spoluautorkou a editorkou/spolueditorkou ctyriadvaceti knih a vice nez stovky kapitol a clanku v oboru genderovych studii, vizualni kultury a literatury. Jeji nedavne publikace zahrnuji dve editovane knihy: The Limits of Gendered Citizenships. Contexts and Complexities (Routledge, 2011) a Intimate Citizenships. Oleksy is Full Professor of Humanities at the University of Lodz, Poland. She chairs the Department of Transatlantic and Media Studies and is Director of Women's Studies Centre which she founded in 1992. She was Founding Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies (2000-2008). She authored/co-authored and edited/co-edited twenty-four books and over a hundred chapters and articles in the field of gender studies, visual culture and literature. Her recent publications include two edited books: The Limits of Gendered Citizenships. Contexts and Complexities (Routledge, 2011) and Intimate Citizenships.
