![]() Submissions Manuscripts for publication should be submitted as MS Word documents in an electronic file to: genderteam@soc.cas.cz. A cover letter with the author’s full contact address, email, and telephone number should accompany the manuscript. The review procedure is anonymous at both ends, and therefore the journal reserves the right to make changes to the text to ensure anonymity before it is submitted to the review procedure. The journal also reserves the right to edit the text to conform to in-house language standards. Manuscript Format The manuscript should include an English abstract of the text (800-1200 characters with spaces), the title of the article in Czech and English, and three keywords in English. The article must be accompanied by a short paragraph about the author(s) submitted as a separate document. Articles should have from 15 to 25 pages (1800 characters with spaces per page without literature), reviews 7 standard pages, and editorials 5 standard pages. Manuscripts must also include a complete alphabetic list of references for literature cited in the text (each title included in this list must have a corresponding in-text reference, otherwise it will be deleted from the list of references). In-text references should follow the author-year citation format: (Young 2000: 33–55). Literature cited in the list of references should adhere to the following reference format: Articles: Baum, B. 2004. „Feminist Politics of Recognition.“ Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society, Vol. 29, No. 4: 1073–1102. Books: Fraser, N., Honneth, A. 2004. Přerozdělování nebo uznání?. Praha: Filosofia. Chapters in a book: Kříková, A. 2000. „Rovnost gender rolí v průběhu rodinného cyklu.“ Pp. 59–78 in Čermáková, M. et al. Souvislosti a změny genderových diferencí v české společnosti v 90. letech. Praha: Sociologický ústav AV ČR. If the article contains tables or figures they should be submitted as separate electronic files (each one separately) in MS Word or Excel (not as pictures). Charts and pictures must be submitted as computer source files. Figures and tables cannot always be printed exactly in the place where they are referred to in the text, but the author should clearly indicate in a space in the text where each individual table or figure should be placed, e.g. < Table 1 about here >. Text or type in the tables or figures should use 10 pt Times New Roman (i.e. column/row/axis headings, legend, data source, etc.). Data sources must be cited for every table/figure. The titles of figures and tables should be written in 12 pt Times New Roman. Pictures should be submitted in TIF format. We thank you for adhering to our standardised format requirements.
